1). !Graduated from Franklin Regional HS in 1979. Played the trumpet in the marching band. Worked at a local gas station. Received an NROTC scholarship. Graduated from Penn State Univ. in 1983 BS Aeoronatical Engr. Graduated from Navy Nuclear Power School in Orlando, FL. Did prototype training in Idaho. He was an electrical officer on the USS Mississippi, a nuclear powered cruiser. He was part of an operation which shadowed exercises of the Russian Navy in the Bering Sea near Murmansk, Russia. He also had tours to Spain and the Caribbean. In 1985 he married Valerie Bruce, also a Penn State graduate, from Verona, PA. They have two children, Allie and Robbie. He took a job as systems engineer with Toledo Edison. He is currently a Sr. Engineer working on the Integrated Control Systems at their Davis Besse Nuclear Power Plant. He coaches his daughter s soccer team. He also coaches a church basketball team. Hobbies include golf, basketball, and computers.
