1). Greenville News Sunday, February 2, 1997 Obituaries ENGLAND LLOYD GALLOWAY Retired Major England Lloyd Galloway, 85, died Jan. 31 , 1997,atthe Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Rosman, North Carolina, he was the son of the lateZebulonVance and Martha Louise Cantrell Galloway. He retired from the United States Army after 25 years ofserviceincluding World War II and the Korean War. He receivedmanydecorations including the French Fourragere. He was a member of Crosswell Baptist Church and a chartermemberof the Retired Officers Association, Greenville Chapter. Surviving are his wife, Jessie Trotter Galloway of the home andseveral nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers and four sisters. Omit flowers, Memorials may be made to the AmericanHeartAssociation, Pickens County Divison, 211 South First Street,Easley,South Carolina, 29640. Grave side services 2 30 P.M. Sunday in Wood lawn Memorial Park,section P, in Greenville conducted by Captain Land with fullmilitaryrites. Visitation 1 to 2 P.M. Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home inEasley. Family members are at their respective homes.
