1). Moved to Lune burg Co., VA about 1772, where both he and JohnJr.lived until after the Revolution. Bother served in that war, theSr.as Ensign in Capt. Edward Jordan s Co. Afterward, John Cureton,Gent.was a vestryman of Cumberland Parish also tax commissionerofLunenburg Co., He moved about 1787 to South Carolina, where hewaslisted in the 1790 Census of Edgefield Co., with 2 males 16 andaboveand three females. By 1800 he was living in Laurens Co, SC.
2). Of Prince George County, Virginia, were listed in the BristolParishRegister .
