She was his second wife, his first being Ruth Wellman, married t him September 8, 1749. After the death of his wife Jane, which occurred May 24 1762, he married 3d, Mary Lay, December 5, 1765, and 4th, Mehetable Post Redfield, widow of his second wife s nephew, Roswell Redfield No. 33 February 21, 1770. whew.
