1). Research OBIT THE CUSHING OKLA DAILY CITIZEN MAY 5, 1964 HEART ATTACK KILLS MEYER Alfred R. Meyer, 73, retired farmer, 422 N. Central, died about 10 30 a.m. Tuesday from an apparent heart attack. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Cushing Hospital. The time of the funeral service will be announced later by the Davis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Meyer was born July 31, 1890, in St. charles County, Mo. He came to Oklahoma in 1908, settling southeast of Cushing and had lived in this area since that time. He moved to his prestent address in 1960. Relatives who survive are his widow, Mrs. Edna Meyer of the home two sons, Robert Meyer of Tulsa, and George Meyer of Kikdair, one daughter, Mrs. Ray Crain of Arkansas City, Kan., one brother, Herbert Meyer of cushing, 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
2). Research  OBIT      CUSHING DAILY CITIZEN, SUNDAY, APRIL 17, 1983  EDNA SADLER  Mrs. Edna C. Sadler, 85, 114 East Greenlee, died Friday, April 15, 1983, at 1 35 p.mm. in the Cushing Regional Hospital.  Funeral services will be on Monday, April 18, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Kircher, First Free Will Baptist Church, and Rev. James Christian, Cushing, officiating.  Burial, under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home, will be in Shamrock Cemetery.  Edna, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Munns, was born Feb. 24, 1898, north of Cushing on a farm.  She was reared and received her early education in Cushing and had lived in this area all her life.  She married Alfred Meyer on May 19, 1920, in Cushing.  the couple established their first home on a fram at this time and lived there until 1960 when they moved to town, Mr. Meyer preceded her in death on May 5, 1964.  She married J.A. Sadler on April 24, 1966, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1980.  Mrs. Sadler was a lontime member of the First Fre Will Baptist Church.  Surviving are one son George Meyer, Braman, Okla., six stepsons, James W. and Conn J. Sadler, both of Cushing  Coy Sadler of Beaumont, Tex., Russell E. Sadler, Edmond, J.D. Sadler, Perry, and Wallace Sadler, STillwater  two step daughters, Mrs Maxye Rimer and Mrs Eletha Shrrod, both of Tulsaone brother, Dave Munns, Tulsa  many grandchildren and great grandchildren  nieces, nephews and other relatives.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, one son, one brother and three sisters.
