2). When Lewis Collins died, Charlotte, a most energetic woman , conducted the plantation until her death in 1862 at the a ge of 98 years. Cotton raised on her place was noted for it s superior quality. Each bale stamped with her initials, C .C. cotton was famous even so far as the Liverpool market . She is buried in a cemetery at Red Hill, one mile northea st of the old Beaver Creek Road which goes from Liberty Hil l to Camden, South Carolina. !DEATH Buried at Red Hill, one mile north east of the Old , Buried at Red Hill, one mile north east of the Old Beave r Creek road from Liberty Hill to Camden.
