1). 18401.ged Fairfield Ledger, May 26, 1886, Page 3, Col 5 Archie Richardson, a well known resident of this county for nearly a third of a century, died at the home of his brother in law, David King, near this city, on Thursday last. He was 72 years of age, and died from old age and general debility. Mr. Richardson was a native of Scotland, and was one of three brothers who came to this country at an early age, only one of whom is now living. Mr. Richardson was twice married, and a wife and twp children survive him. His remains were intered in this city Friday.

Nov.12,1926 Page 1,Col.3 Iowa Pioneer passes away, Mrs. Catherine Richardson, this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Pierson...Internment in the old family cemetery near Batavia. Daughter of Jacob and Sarah Snook, born in Richland County, Ohio, Oct 1,1839...Married Archicald Richardson April 19,1861. He proceeded her in death about 10 years. Three children, one son dying in infantcy. Surviving a son James, in California and daughter Sarah Pierson two grand children, 3 great granchildren, She was a nurse in this community for 45 years, being one of the first nurses in Jefferson County.
