House of Representatives, Cla remont, 1794 98 Darlington, 1798 1800 Claremont, 1803 06 . S. C. Senate, Claremont, 181011 resigned to remove fro m state. Settled in Lincoln County, Ga., January 6, 1812 b ought large plantation on Savannah River on Clark Hill Lake . Member of Methodist Church.
