His son, Z ac he us , fo ught in theRevolution. Daniel Maltbie was a member of the committee for red r e s s o f Americangrievances. Daniel Maltbie later lived in Northford. His hou s e w a s o n the mainstreet in the city. He was one of t h e 20 f ou nder s of the First Church ofNorthford.
