1). Notes In 1650 he was living in Hartford, Conn. in t h e W i n dsor settlement with three children. He was once sentenced by the Windsor Court to be whi p p e d f or merciless treatment of a servant then lying t o e xt en uat e his fault. In 1650 had land in Greenfield, now Bloomfield Conn. He gave to his daughter Dorcas who married Peter Mil l s , t h e Dutchman, 20 acres of his Greenfield land to bu i l d upo n i n 1660. In the list of those having a family and a horse at Wi n d s o r in 1669 Edward s name appears. He was a grantee of land at New London in 1651.
