Regarding Hannah Hosmer. She married in 1657 Josiah W i l l a rd ofWethersfield. They had eight children. Josi a h Wi ll ar d died in 1674, so,insofar as dates go, it wou l d be p oss ibl e for her to have been mother ofElizabeth , b . 1676 , an d Dan iel, b. 1679. The first four children of William Maltby were Ja n e , b . 1 669, John, b.1670, Mary, b. 1672, and William , b . 1 67 3 . I think it is usual to findthat the younge r chi ldre n a r e born with an interval of two or threeyea rs, he nce E liza be th, three years after William, and Dan iel, th reeyea rs af te r Elizabeth.
