1). He owned a farm outside of Lewiston, New York, which wa s r a vaged by the British during the War of 1812. After the war he fil e d a c laim for damages which included the loss of his house and barns, livesto c k a nd cash. His estate was probated in Niagara County, New York, in 1824.
