1). Downing.ged There is a degree of uncertainty over the first name of Richard Evans wife. The February 14, 1827 issue of The Village Record states Marriage On the 9th instant by Wm. Everhart, Esq., Mr. Richard Evans to Miss Mary Ann Couch, both of Uwchlan township, Chester county . This indicates their marriage would have been on February 9, 1827.
