C A V A IL A death certificate shows that he died on 27 Augus t , 1 9 0 1 at age 68 years, 7 months, 17 days. It shows h i s occ up at ion as a farmer and that he was born in Virgi ni a. H e ap par ently died in Aukland, California of gene ra l debil ity. Medical According to a cousin, Betty Beaudette, Dan i e l w a s pruning an apple tree when he fell out of it . T h e inju ri es caused his death. 2). Elizabeth is shown in the 1910 census as having been born in Illinois.Her parents are shown as having been born i n Germany. The only family member living near her is Lesli e. She lived in California for 65 years in 1933 , which means she arrived in California in about 1868. She would have been about 19 years old at the time. She died at age 83 years, 5 months, 13 days of uremic poisoning caused as a result of a fractured leg she received on 7 May 1933 . She died at the Dinuba Hospital . She was buried by Dopkins Undertaker Parlors, of Dinuba, California. Her death certificate shows her as the widow of Daniel H. St. Clair and living near Sultana, California at the time of her death. Medical This information comes from her death certificate . Her femur leg was fractured on 7 May, 1933 and she apparently had complications which caused her death at 10 30pm. on 28 May 1933.
