Wilcox, 74, a resident of Ro Ker Nursing Ho m e , w a s pronounced dead on arrival at Alliance City Hos pi ta l a t 5 30 p.m. Wednesday following an extended illn ess. A retired auto mechanic, Mr. Wilcox was born in Deerf i e l d , Oct. 8, 1906, to Clayton and Carrie Logue Wilcox , a n d h a d lived in this area all of his life. He wa s a memb e r o f Ea st Goshen Friends Church. His wife, Mil dred, di e d in 1 964. Surviving are two sons, William of Alliance and Nor m a n o f C leveland two sisters, Mrs. George Lindsley o f Ja ck son , Ga . and Miss Eva Wilcox of Australia six gr andch ild ren an d six great grandchildren.
