1). provincial solder in the French and Indian War bobspu.ged George was first assessed in Chester County on the East Nottingham returns for 1740 1 apparently a married man, tax 2s His Will of 20 Aug 1797 was probated 26 May 1803. His wife joined him on certain conveyances which provides her name, the first of which was 1763. George Robinett, pioneer Maryland farmer, provincial solder in the French and Indian War, was named in his father s Samuel Robinett Deed of Gift in the nature of a Will as the youngest son , and inherited the paternal home and farm under the provisions of that instrument, which reads, in part, Likewise I give to my Youngest Son George Robinett the plantation which I now live on containing one hundred and seventy five acres of land to him and his heirs or assigns for ever but not to be disposed of whilst my wife lives without consent.
