I Courte Voorhees Sen. of the twp. of Hillsborough, Co., of Somerset, state of New Jersey, enjoying good health, and, and being of sound mind, memory and understanding, blessed be Almighty Godfor the same, do make and publisg this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say Imprimis, I give and bequeath to my William Courte, and Albert Voorhees or the survivor of them all my wearing wearing apparel share and share alike Item, I give and Devise to my son Albert Voorhees to him and his heirs and assigns forever all my Real Estate except that what is herein afterwards disposed of Consisting of my homestead farm, a lot of twenty seven and a half acres adjoining Peter Stryker and others, a mountain lot of Twenty acres, and also ten acres of woodland adjoining Derrick Kershaw ? and others, with all the appurtenances also all my personal estate whatsoever not otherwise disposed ofprovided he shall pay or cause to be paid to my executorsherein after named or the survivor of them, the sum of Twenty Five hundred and fifty Dollars lawful money of the United States of Americaand all my funeral expenses attending the settlement of my estate as hereinafter directed and ordered to be paid in one year after my decease and further that my son Albert Voorhees his heirs executors or administrators shall provide for my son William Voorhees such things as shall be neccessary for his support and maintenance during his natural life and in case my son Albert Voorhees his heirs or Adm. shall refuse or neglect to provide for my son William I then enjoin it on my other executor or executors so to provide for him and compel my son Albert to pay for it out of the property which I have left him. Item, I give and Devise to my son Court C. Voorhees and his wife Lucretia as long as they shall liveor either of them, the use, emoluments and benef. its arising from my farmon which they now live and after their decease shall give and Devise the same with all the appurtances to my Grand children and Children of my son Court C.
