After the death of Orion, Alva married Ina Hilda Harvelene Croy. RenaLorena Bell Sourgeon Alva s sister remarked Father like son they bothmarried their housekeepers. Ina was housekeeper for Alva. After Orion s death Alva married Ina. Alva s father Asa Edward Spurgeon left 1st wife Jenny , ran off with their housekeeper Flossie Smith.
