1). John Cantzon was christened John Charles Rene Jacques Cant zon. He arrived in the Waxhaws area of Lancaster County, So uth Carolina from Pennsylvania sometime before the Revoluti on. He was married to Sarah Dickey, was a practicing physic ian known as the French Doctor , and owned a considerabl e amount of land. In 1769, John Cantzon was a Justice of th e Peace in Craven County, South Carolina. After John Cantzo n s death, Sarah married Daniel Harper.
