He was married to Sarah Dickey, was a practicing physic ian known as the French Doctor , and owned a considerabl e amount of land. In 1769, John Cantzon was a Justice of th e Peace in Craven County, South Carolina. After John Cantzo n s death, Sarah married Daniel Harper.
