1). HAYNE, ISAAC Haynes 1714 1751 . Father of ISAAC HAYNE 1745 1781 son in law of JOHN BEE, JR. brother in law o f THOMAS BEE. Isaac Hayne, son of John Hayne the immigrant and Mary Dea ne, was born in South Carolina 27 July 1714. He settled i n St. Bartholomew Parish in Colleton County where he had 5 4 slaves on his plantation. In the parish he was a deacon a nd elder of the Bethel Presbyterian Church of Pon Pon 1739 1751 and a commissioner, to build a bridge over the Pon P on River 1751 . Elected by the parish to the Seventeenth R oyal Assembly 1748 , he declined to serve. Hayne married f our times. By his first wife Elizabeth Oswald d. 17S8 , h e had two children Elizabeth and Isaac 17S8 17S9 both o f whom died in infancy. His second marriage to Sarah Stoke s d. 1741 was childless. Sarah Williamson was Hayne s thi rd wife. They had two children Mary and Isaac. AfterSara h Williamson Hayne s death in 1747 Hayne wed Mary Bee, daug hter of John Bee, Jr., and Susannah Simmons.
