1). DAVID E. JEFFCOAT PINOPOLIS David E. Jeffcoat, 55, died Saturday. Born in Richland County, he was a 1962 graduate of Clems on University and was assistant to the vice president of co mmercial operations at the Santee Cooper power plant. He wa s past president of the Berkeley Clemson Club, a Rotarian , and a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award. He wa s a member of Seaside Masonic Lodge No. 419, the Shrine Clu b of Myrtle Beach, St. Michael Lutheran Church and the Luth eran Church Men s Club. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lorraine Hayne Jeffcoats ons, David E. Jeffcoat of Omaha, Neb., and Jay and Robert J effcoat of Pinopolis and brothers, Clarence B. Jeffcoat o f Pinopolis and Ross Jeffcoat of Hampton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Luther an Church, with burial at 3 p.m. at Fairfax Cemetery of Fai rfax. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family is at the residence. Russell Funeral Chapel is in charge.
2). Graduated from Clemson University and taught high school.
