Isaac Ross 2nd lived at Stony Hill N.C. and he was calle d Stony Hill Isaac to distinguish him from another brothe r by the second marriage of his father. The home Stony Hil l was possibly in Mecklenburg county. Stony Hill Isaac r emoved to South Carolina about 1750 1760 and settled in wha t was then Orangeburg county.
