NOTES
1). Ed Simpson, age 66, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at his home in North Lancaster Township. He was born Aug. 18, 1934 in Beetown Township, the son of Sidney and Beulah Christensen Simpson. Ed married Agnes Dressler on July 14, 1953 in Lancaster. He was a member of the Potosi Sportsman s Club, the 2 Cylinder Club, and the National Rifle Association. Ed loved trapshooting and hunting and enjoyed restoring antique tractors and farm equipment. He is survived by his wife, Agnes of Lancaster eight children, Phyllis John Galer of Burnsville, Minn., Mike Kristi Simpson of Lancaster, Ann Phil Gullickson of LaCrosse, Steve Simpson of Everett, Wash., Sue Steve Felder of Verona, Kathy Ames of Lancaster, Tom Cindy Simpson of Lancaster, and Ed Simpson of Lancaster 15 grandchildrentwo great grandchildren his mother, Beulah Simpson of Lancaster, one brother, Phil Marita Simpson of Seguin, Texas and two sisters, Rose Keith Bryhan of Lancaster and Gloria Bob Giesen of Lancaster. Ed was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 14 at 11 AM at the Martin Page Funeral Home in Lancaster, with the Pastor Mike Christenson officiating.
