2). Peoria Journal Star Aug 13, 1993 Obituary Lewistown Frances Thomson, 81, of 1418 N. Broadway, formerly of Bushnell, died at 10 20 P.M. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1993, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born Sept. 11, 1911, in Lancaster, WI., to John and Anna Koeller Wieland, she married C. Scott Thomson in Mott, ND He died May 7, 1978. She also was preceded in death by three brothers. Surviving are one son, Dr. Lester G. of Lincoln two daughters, Mrs. Dale Wanda Romine of St. Charles, Mo., and Stawanna Goforth of Lewistown eight grandchildren two step grandchildren six step great grandchildren three step great great grandchildren and four sisters, Dorothy Mae Strand of Regent, ND Donelda Oberlander of New England, ND, and Leota Liene and Caroline Ehlringer, both of Hettinger, ND. She taught school in the rural school system. After her marriage she and her husband lived in Wisconsin for 14 years before moving to Adair, where they farmed for several years. They moved to Bushnell when they retired in 1970. She was a member of the Suits Us Club in Bushnell, Bushnell Senior Citizens and Point Pleasant United Methodist Church. Services will be at 1 30 P.M. Monday at Martin Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell where visitation will be one hour before the services. Calling hours will be after 2 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb. Memorials may be made to her church.
