He apparently owned or was in the process of purchasing his farm. David was born in IN his father was reported born in GERMANY his mother born in FRANCE. REF 1. U.S. Census 1920 IN Fulton Co. Her name was very difficult to read on the census microfilm it could have been Dehla or Delia . She was reported born in IN, as were both of her parents. She and David L. COOK had apparently been born about 7 years at the time of the census enumeration 10 Jan. 1920 Their twin sons were 6 years of age a daughter, Edith W. was only one month short of 3 years old. REF 1.
