MOW, 61 Resident Here 35 Years Died in Hospital Walter A. MOW, 61, of 1702 Homewood Ave., a resident here for 35 years, died unexpectedly at 10 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph s Hospital where he was admitted Saturday. Mr. Mow had been employed by the Studebaker Packard Corp. for 35 years as a carpenter in its maintainence department. He was born July 20, 1899, in Rochester, Ind., and came to Mishawaka from that city. On April 15, 1919, he married Wilma Agnes Cooper in Richland Center, Ind. Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, Charles R. Mow of Mishawaka Robert L. Mow of South Bend and David E. Mow at homeand one daughter, Mrs. Dean Torrence of Mishawaka, and five grandchildren. Other survivors are on e brother, James W. Mow of South Bend and three sisters, Mrs. Tony Whiteledge of Chicago Mrs. Edward Peters of Posen, Ill, and Mrs. Frank Polifka, also of Chicago. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Bubb Chapel and until 11 a.m. Wednesday, then in the East Methodist Church from 12 30 p.m. until time for services in the church at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Kenneth E. Smith, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Mow was a charter member of the Studebaker Male Chorus. Mow Mrs. Wilma Agnes Mow, 65, formerly of 1702 Homewood Ave., died at 9 a.m. Monday in the Rest Haven Nursing Home, Elkhart, where she had been a patient for the past three years. Born Aug. 25, 1901, in Rochester, Ind., Mrs. Mow came to Mishawaka in 1924. As Wilma Agnes Cooper, she was married to the late Walter Mow in Richland Center, Ind., in April 1919. She is survived by three sons, Richard and Robert of Mishawaka, and David of Indianapolis one daughter, Mrs. Dean Torrence, of Mishawaka four sisters, Mrs. Donald McLean, of South BendMrs. Tessa Stayton, of Mishawaka Mrs. Arnie Haltug of East Chicago, Ind., and Mrs. Paul Parsons, of Three Rivers, Mich. eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
