Ault, 80, formerly of Rt.7, Plymouth, died at 8 15 a.m., Monday at Miller s Merry Manor, Plymouth, after being there four years. He was a retired farmer. He was born May 26, 1900 in Fulton County to John and Mary Gilchrist Ault and lived most of his life in the Culver area. He moved to Plymouth in 1964. Mr. Ault was married March 23, 1925 at Warsaw to Ruth Wright, who preceded him in death. Surviving are eight children Mrs. Ethel Wrockladge, Delphi, OH Mrs. Jean Zartman, Fort Wayne Mrs. Edna Brofford, Akron Mrs. Nancy Stiles, Argos Mrs. Virginia Eads, Mentone Arlon Ault, Tippecanoe and Calvin Ringle, Akron26 grandchildren 35 great grandchildren and three brothers, Clarence Ault, Tippecanoe Eldon Ault, Plymouth and Harry Ault, Knox. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mildred and two brothers. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grossman Funeral Home, Argos. with Rev. Cleda Fahlgren, pastor of Our Church of Lord Jesus Christ, officiating. Burial will be at Culver Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 till 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until the time of services. Two of the children listed in this obituary and Ralph s wife s obituary are not found in any other family data. Calvin Ringle and Ethel Wrockladge are not children known to be born to Ralph and Ruth Wright Ault. It is not known what their relationship to Ralph Ault might be. A lso the obit. states eight surviving children but lists only seven. The U.S. Census record for 1920 shows Ralph A. as 19 years of age his occupation at that time was listed as General Labor. In researching this family for compiler, Wilma FOLTZ evidently wrote to Arlon AULT for innformation. He responded with a list of his siblings, their spouses and vital dates. RUTH AULT, NEAR ARGOS, DIES Mrs. Ruth Ault, 64, R.R.1, Plymouth became ill while shopping in Plymouth and died enroute to Plymouth Parkview hospital about 4 p.m. Monday. She was born Aug. 4, 1900 in Etne Green to Harry and Elsie Wright. She had moved to near Plymouth two weeks ago from Rutland, near Culver. Her marriage was to Ralph Ault in Warsaw, March 23, 1925. Surviving are the husband, six daughters, Mrs. Evard Jean Zartman, Fort Wayne Mrs. Asa Katherine Brofford, Akron Mrs. Robert Nancy Stiles, PlymouthMrs. James Virginia Eads, Syracuse Mrs. N.J. Ethel Wrockladge, Delphi, O., and Mrs. Bernard Alice Dillard, Inwood two sons, Arlon, Plymouth, and Calvin Ringle, Rochester 24 grandchildren three great grand children the mother, Mrs. Elsie Wright, South Bend a sister, Mrs. Robert Brentlinger, South Bend, and nieces and nephews. A daughter preceded in death. Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Grosman funeral home at Argos with the Rev. J.L. Longnecker officiating. Burial will be in the Culver Masonic cemetery.
