1). bobspu.ged Sources NOTE Charles Johnson was a minister in the Methodist Church. He lived in Brasher Falls, NY St. Lawrence County , also in Massena and Fort Covington, NY. There is a question of his wife s name she may have been called Nettie. Wife and son are buried in Riverside Cemetery, Westville, NY. Unclear if he is or not. Rev. Johnson is mentioned in the History of Clinton and Franklin Counties by Duane Ha milton Hurd 1880 on page 447 Charles Johnson was the local preacher. He is also mentioned in Historical Sketches of Franklin County by Frederick Seaver 1918 , pg. 797 says Charles Johnson was t he preacher in Bombay in 1846.
