NOTES
1). 1735328.ged BeamandWilson.FTW Dear Mrs.Gifford,my name is David Rader.I am writing to you in reference to L.L Rader my gra ndfather .I saw your inquiry on ancestry.com.My grandfather lived in Camden on Gauley and die d in 1929.If we are talking about the same person,I would love to talk to you. Please e mail m e at..stormin601960@yahoo.com....thank you,David Hi Sandy, This is pretty exciting for me since Logan died the same year my father was born,we don t hav e much background on him.I will check with my uncle who has done much more research then I ha ve, to see what he knows about the Beams.I do know my father had a half sister named Frenchi e that died in 1929.That was a bad year for the Raders.I will check our family bible to see what Frenchie s mothers name may have been. Have you ever been to the Rader family grave yard in Calvin?I have many pictures of that time.Have you heard anything about Rader Brothers General Store in Camden 0n Gauley.I will check my bible and write back.By the way do you kn ow when Ella died? thanks, David Sandy, Hello again. This is David from Baltimore,Md.I have an old deed to a piece of property th at was in my family for nearly 70 years that was bought by L.L.Rader s parents in 1890.It wa s passed down to L.L.Rader and May Rader in 1915 this is the family cemetery I mentioned t o you earlier .When the property was sold maybe in the 50 s a provision was included to prot ect the cemetery which is maintained by my father,Lewis Rader. This is the only reference to M ay that I have been able to find. However,a child was born,I would assume to May Ella May on 06Au g1906.She was my father s half sister. Her name was Pauline Rader and she died 28Jun1929.She i s buried at our family cemetery and her nick name was Frenchie.I have a few pictures if I can figure out how toscan one into an ej mail.Well write back if any of this m akes sense. Thanks.... David Hi Sandy, I found some more info that I am still trying to verify.L.L.Rader had another child bor n 16Apr1925 named Esta Rader that fits into the time frame of his marriage to May.She would b e sister of Pauline Frenchie and half sister of my Dad Lewis .She marriedCharles Middaugh an d had an Aunt Emma that lived in L.A. Most my info is from post cards from the 1930 s and let ters from my Aunt Eugenia b.24Feb1903 .My Aunt Eugenia was like a mother to the other sibling s because of her age.I believe the Middaughs lived in Ohio I know Eugenia lived in Columbus and Lancaster .I will keep digging but my Aunt died in 1976 so I only have letters a nd pictures to go by.My dad may know some things, but he had a couple of strokes and lives i n Richwood W.Va.,which is in Nicholas Co.I am trying to send a picture or two.Let me know i f any of this helps.By the way,the name of the cemetery is Rader cemetery in Calvin,Nichola s Co.Keep in touch... David...
