NOTES
1). 1735328.ged BeamandWilson.FTW Info. obtained from Tom Cornell at email address tvcornell@mindspring.com Hi, A correspondent told me she downloaded your file of information on Benjamin Cornell and Mar y Fair from Ancestry.Com. My sources say that Benjamin married 1 Sarah and2 Mary perhaps Bond . Benjamin s eldest son Smith married Mary Fair who died 1 Jul. 1860 at Richardson, Nebr. My interest is Benjamin s son Jacob and the information you provided about his family. Thi s is not my Cornell line, but I am trying to update one of the Cornell genealogies, the 197 5 book of Prentiss Glazier. I also have a Cornell Genealogy web page where I make availabl e several large downloadable Cornell files. I d like to incorporate Jacob s family in my file, but I need to know where the information c ame from. Sources are very important to me. Those of us doing family research today have los t so much important data because of the practice of most genealogists of the past essentiall y saying, Take my word for this. Unlike them, we have no expectation of that, and we hav e to tell where we got what if we want our work to be taken seriously. Can you help me? I ll be glad to share with you what I have on this family. Thanks, Tom Cornell http www.mindspring.com tvcornel gene.html
