1). mytree.FTW In the name of God Amen. I William Whitted, Senior of the county of Orange and State of North Carolina being of sound & disposin g mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and test ament in manner and form following, to the First, I give and bequeath to my daughter, Mary Bird six hundred dollars. Secondly, I give & bequeath to my daughter Hannah Harr is the sum of five hundred dollars as she has but one child. Thi rdly, I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Holden the su m of six hundred and fifty dollars. Fourthly, I give and bequeat h to my daughter Susannah Thompson the sum of six hundred and fi fty dollars. Fifthly, I give and bequeath to my grandson Samuel Bigelow one hundred dollars. Sixthly, I give and bequeath to my granddaughter, Nancy Young one hundred dollars. Seventhly, I giv e and bequeath to my grandson William Whitted son of Levi Whitte d one hundred dollars. The above legacies to be paid out of moni es and notes on hand that shall be....with at my decease Eigthly, I give and bequeath to my son William Whitted my n egro man Frank. It is also my particular wish and desire that my mulatto boy Dick should belong to my son William Whitted as a s ervant and slave until the month of January in the year 1820 at which time he is to be emancipated and set free forever thereaft er. I give and bequeath to my son Levi Whitted his heirs and ass ign forever the track of land ... plantation I now live on, like wise, fifty acres of land adjoining Isaac Holden s Mill tract Also, I give and bequeath to my son Levi my clock, also my wil l and desire is that my son Levi should have my old negro woman Lilly and her daughter, JudithIt is my will and desire t hat the whole remainder of my property both real and personal sh all be equally divided between my two sons William and Levi In consideration of what I have left my son William it is my wi ll and desire that after the emancipation of my servant Dick, th at if he should get disabled and not capable of getting his livi ng, that my son William should support him.Lastly, I n ominate constitute and appoint my two sons William and Levi Whit ted my whole and sole executor of this my last will and testamen t hereby revoking and disannuling all other and former wills & bequests by me heretofore declaring and publishing this only to be my last will & testament In....whereof I do hereunto su bscribe my name and affix my seal this 24th of March 1814.
