I James Whitted of the town of Hillsborough being weak in body b ut of sound mind blessed be God therefore do my make and publis h this as my last will and testament I give unto my beloved wife Attellia Whitted my negro man Virgil . Secondly, my will and desire is that all the residue of my prope rty of every kind and description be sold by my executor hereina fter named and the proceeds to be equally divided between my sai d wife Attellia, my son Nash Whitted and the child with which sh e is now pregnant I constitute my friends James Webb and F.
