NOTES
1). mytree.FTW William Spencer Lawson was better known as Spencer Lawson. My information indicates that Spencer came to Georgia in 1853, as reported by his son William Turner Lawson. Spencer and William Turner both enlisted in the same company of the Georgia Infantry, Co, E,22nd Ga. Inf. Spencer was wounded in the head on July 2, 1863, captured at Gettysburg, He was admitted to West s Buildings Hospital, Baltimore, Md. on July 29, 1863and died there of wounds on September 5th or 6th, 1863. He was buried in Louden Park Cemetery, grave no. A 38 C.L.. Spencer was a farmer and he was an overseer in South Carolina.
