1). mytree.FTW Jacob served as a First Lietenant in the 5th Company, 4th Battalion, York Co. PA Militia in 1778. He also served as Ensign in the 1st Company, 1st Regiment, York Co., PA Militia in 1795. He was the executor of his sister Christina Clopper s will, dated 24 Nov., 1801. After 1800, Jacob began using the surname of Cassat. This name appears on his gravestone.
