Humphrey then married his concubineEleanor. Knight of the Bath.Found dead in bed after being arrested Earl of Pembroke. Founded the Bodleian Library and built the Oxford divinity school. Regent of England.
2). In the summer of 1441 the King s Henry V1 advisers accused Eleanor of sorcery and she was forced to undergo public penance in the streets of London and Gloucester, though not directly involved, was neatly discredited. Weir says she died at Peel Castle,Isle of Man. She was convicted of practising whichcraft upon Henry VI. The Complete Peerage agrees. She may have born Humphrey two children before they married, but there are no clear details.
