1). Could this Cornelius be the Cornelius Vos, the scandalmonger , prosicuted in 1654 for the delightfully appropriate nicknames he gave the neighboring houses in Albany. Per THE HUDSON by Carl Carmer as part of the WPA American Rivers series? More nformaiton is need to verify this, but it might expalin the Voaburgh families that insist they are not descended from Abraham who as believed to be a 2nd son. Might he also be the father of Marietje and she not be their sister?
