Like his father, Benjamin was a prosperous Huntingt o n m i l l owner. Ha ving married at least 13 years befor e h is f at h er's death, Benjamin clearl y had received hi s sh are o f t h e estate many years earlier, and thus rece iv e d no be que s t in the will. In 1740, a few years aft e r his father 's d ea th , Benjamin sold the Huntington pr op erties and re move d t o Rahway, where he purcha sed mil l s from a Josep h Baily . N o will has been found for Ben ja min, very like l y becau se de ath can suddenly and on e cou ld not be writt en. The p rincip al sourc e of infor matio n about Benjami n and Hanna h and the ir 10 childre n is th e Bi ble of the o ldest son, B enjamin.
