For many years, "Eck" was a timberman, a merchant, and the operator of the best farm on the R ight Fork of Steer Creek.

Edna Lambert Norman, 88, of Stumptown, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000
EDNA NORMAN Edna Lambert Norman, 88, of Stumptown, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at her home.
She was born at Gip, the daughter of the late William H. and Kate Lynch Lambert. She was a member of Shock Church of Christ.
Surviving are three sons, Lacy Brooks Norman of Aurora, Ohio, Jerry Norman of Norton, Ohio, a nd Kenneth Dale Norman of Shock; four daughters, Lela Keim of Hyndman, Pa., Glenna Miller o f Normantown and Kate Miller and Patty Miller, both of Windham, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; 36 gr eat-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Don Lambert of Windham; an d one sister, Bernice Miller of Windham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E.C. "Eck" Norman, in 1983; one daughter, Nina Jean ; one grandson, Chad Norman; four brothers, Fred, Ernest, Charley and Lee Lambert; and thre e sisters, Mae Rogers, Bessie Conley and Greta King.
Services were scheduled Wednesday, 1 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Evangelis t Gene Miller officiating, and burial in Collins Community Cemetery, Stumptown. Visitation w as also scheduled one hour prior to services.
