R T Sackett is buried in section 67 grave number 5387, the section andgrave are on the right hand side of the Cemetery while looking towardsthe River. The section is next to the brick wall on the Battlefieldside,approximately 3/4th of the length form the entrance.While theheadstone shows it's age it is still in acceptable condition. Theinscription simply states, " R.T. SACKETT LA"

Julia A. Sackett Custis filed suit against Thomas E. Custis on
I November 1893. Julia stated she married Custis on 5 December
1889. On or about I January 1890, she received $560.00 from her
father's estate. Thomas E. Custis appropriated the money for
use in his business pursuits. Julia wanted to recover her dowry
at the rate of five percent interest beginning 1 February 1890
to date. Custis accepted the suit against himself on 1 November
1893. No decision was recorded on Packet #418b
