   A farmer who lived on Lincoln St., Hingham.  Would have preferred to be a Loyalist in the Revolution.  Was a Co n s t a ble in 1768.in 1768.

In his will, dated 4 Nov 1792, provides for his thr e e s o n s then living, and gives "to Lucy Lewis for her long and faithful services in my family,"etc., a comfortable maintena n c e " a s long as she remains unmarried.  Resided on Lincoln St.

   Reference  shows Williams death as 29 Oct 1839, Marlbor o u g h, Mass.   He lived in Dedham at the time of his marria g e .  T h en to East Sudbury, now known as Wayland, until summer of 1 7 9 2 w h en he moved to Marlborough.  He was a farmer, tanner, tavernk e e p e r, member of the Universalist Church.
