Mary 's Cray, w here his posterity conti nued until w ithi n thes e few years; " and John, the eldes t, married Ag nes , daughte r of John Pet ley, of Downe, "w ho, on the div isio n of the i nheritance o f the Petley he irs became enti tle d to the mano r of Downe-co urt.  John and Juliana Mannings grandfather, Simon, is als o m e n t ioned; "Simon Manning of Codham Kent and Katherin e h i s wi f e convey lands to Robert Attewode etc. This mu st h av e be e n that Simon Manning whose wife Katherine, a ccord in g to t h e pedigree, was a sister of Geoffrey Chau cer."

 Phebe Manning, the daughter of Richard Manning (so n o f J o h n and Agnes Petley Manning), married James Wate r o f St . B ut tolph, Algate, London. Phebe's cousin Phebe , da ughte r o f Ge orge Manning, married a Jacob Waters. J ame s and Ph eb e had a t least six children, John , Pheb e (bap t. Dec.6 , 16 02), Ric hard, Judith, Elizabeth, an d Mary. J ames Wate rs di ed in 161 7 and his widow, Phebe , married W illiam Pla sse i n 1618 an d later moved with h im to New En gland.

 Captain Feagan and his sons were drilled by Simon Ke n t o n i n all the traits of war.  At another encounter o f F ie ld in g Feagan with and Indian they fought with dir k kni ve s an d F ielding had a scar from his ear to his ch in, wh ic h he c arri ed to his grave. Fielding Feagan migr ated t o Ri chmond , Iow a and is buried in the Richmond Ce metery , Wash ingto n County , Iowa.
