     Mrs. Dicie Mauldin Wilson, 71, of 25 West 8th Street,W oodsideCommunity of Greenville, died Thursday, January 1, 1987 atGreenvilleMemorial Hospital, following several weeks of illness.

     She was born in Old Fort, McDowell County, North Carolina,September 8, 1915, but had lived most of her life in Greenvilleareawhere she was associated with Woodside Mill before her retirement.Shewas of the Methodist Faith.

     Surviving are her husband Fred Veron Wilson; her two children,Wilton and Herman Mauldin both of Greenville;  her mother Mrs.RosaEnvlee Galloway Mcfalls Payne of Greenville; three sisters,Mrs.Bertha Mae Mcfalls Mason Carnes, Sr.,  Mrs. Ethel AnnaMcfallsLimbaugh, both of Greenville and Mrs. Kathleen Mcfalls FosterofAiken; a brother, George Rogers Mcfalls, Sr., of Greenville;fourgrandchildren, Jan, Chris, Tina, and Greg Mauldin; andtwograte-grandchildren.
