From McADAMS FAMILY BOOK: William W., b. 1815 in SC, married Elizabeth Little Green, b. 1814inNC, on 18 Oct 1835 in Perry Co., Ala.  William grew up inJeffersonCo., Ala. and moved to Yalobusha County, Miss. around 1840.In about1852, the family moved to Centerville, Leon Co., Texas.  In1858,William began purchasing land from the Thomas Garner HeadrightnearFlynn, Texas and acquired over 3,000 acres which he paid for ingold.They had 9 children when Elizabeth died in 1879 and here-marriedRebecca Speer.  William died in 1889 and he and his wiveswere buriedin Bethal Cemetery on the land he donated to the BethalBaptist Churchnear Flynn, Texas. Their children were: (lists 11children, manygrandchildren).
