With her hus band s h e remo ved t o Indiana in 1842, to Illinois in 185 2, and t o Jeffers on Cou nty in 1855. Mrs Metz was the mot her o f ni ne childre n, fiv e who are now living. S. J.an d Finis , res ide in Roun d Prair ie township, S. A. and J. M. an d a daugh ter Eliza J. , in Jew ell countyKansas. With her hus band s h e remo ved t o Indiana in 1842, to Illinois in 185 2, and t o Jeffers on Cou nty in 1855. Mrs Metz was the mot her o f ni ne childre n, fiv e who are now living. S. Mrs. Anna McCormick Culler, who died in this county Dec e m b e r 26, fromparalysis, was born Stark County, Ohio , Se pt em be r 21, 1821. Her father, George McCormick, wa s a br oth e r ofC yrus H. McCormick, the inventor of the r eapin g mach in ing. I n Caroll Co. Indinanna, April 25, 18 43, sh e wasma rri ed to M ichael Culler, with whom she rem oved t o Illino is i n 1855 . And to Round Prarie township , this c ounty,tw o year s later . They were the parents o f three so ns, all o f who m are livi ng, and were presen t at the buri al -M.J. , who' s is at Moun t Pleasant, Samu el V. of thi s city, an d H.S. o f Memphis, Mo . The husban d, died nea r Glasgow, in 1861. Mrs . Culler wa s a membe r of the Metho dist Episcopa l Church, a nd was an ex celle nt christian wo man. In thatpo rtion of th e county whe r e so much of her l ife was spent s he was ver y popular w ith y oung and old al ike, andher hom e was the sc ene of m any socia l gatherings .
