                           Retired Nurse, Dies
   CHARLESTON - Mrs. Ruth McCraw Curtis, 73, widow of Augus tus Tobias Curtis, died Saturday at Rikard Nursing Home, Le xington.
   Born in Orangeburg County, she was a daughter of the lat e W. Edward and Frances McCraw.
   Mrs. Curtis was a retired registered nurse, having gradu ated from Roper School of Nursing. She was a member of St . Philip Episcopal Church.
   Surviving are two sons, R. Churchill Curtis of Columbi a and Dr. Thomas B. Curtis of the University of Freinburg , Germany; three sisters, Mrs. Francis Kennedy of Orangebur g, Mrs. Mary Baxter of St. Matthews, and Mrs. Julia Way o f Edgefield; a brother, Cabe O. McGraw of Atlanta; and si x grandchildren.
   Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Magnolia Cemete ry.
   Stuhr's Funeral Home, Calhoun Street Chapel, is in charg e.
