                                     Blanche McKinney Jones

                   Blanche McKinney Jones, 97, West Lafayette, died Aug. 2, 2000, at
                   George Davis Manor.

                   Mrs. Jones had lived in Clinton County for most of her life. She graduated
                   Scircleville High School and earned her teaching license from Indiana State
                   University. She taught at Hillisburg and Scircleville. She was a member of
                   the National and Indiana Retired Teachers associations, the National Society
                   of Colonial Dames, the Society of Indiana Pioneers, the Capt. Harmon
                   Aughe Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Order of
                   Eastern Star, and the National Society of the Sons and Daughters of the
                   Pilgrims. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was active
                   in the Tri Beta Sunday School Class and the Missionary Circle. She was a
                   former member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church and the United
                   Methodist Women.

                   Mrs. Jones was born Aug. 6, 1902, in Clinton County to Harvey J. and
                   Clara Power McKinney. She married Charles C. Jones on Dec. 21, 1923.
                   Mr. Jones died May 15, 1971.

                   Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will
