General Notes (Husband)



  Little is known of Peter and Suzanne YOUNGBLOOD's eightchildrenexcept for Samuel. Samuel married Jane McMILLAN about 1773.They had afarm in Abbeville District, South Carolina. Samuel and Janewere theparents of ten Children, two of them whose names are notknown. Janedied about 1808 and Samuel decided to cast his fortune inthe wildwest. His daughter Margaret had married and moved to Kentucky,takingher younger sister Katy along. Samuel with his two youngestsons,JohnWilson and Ephraim, left South Carolina to join Margaret inKentucky.Samuel soon decided that moving west was the right thing todo andwent back to SC to settle up his affairs. Unfortunately Samueldiedafter arriving back in SC. He is believed to be buried inAbbeville.The four westward bound YOUNGBLOOD children soon moved onfromKentucky to Indiana where they settled down. Samuel would marryinAbbeville and then move into the back country of South Carolina.
