BIO: "McVEY" "Funeral services for John McVey, 44, R.R. 2, Knox, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday (EST) at the First Baptist Church, Plymouth. Rev. Charles Opitz will officiate and burial will be in Culver Masonic Cemetery. McVey was accidently killed Monday evening when his tractor overturned in a ditch near his home. He was born in Knox July 30, 1919 to Frank and Jennie McVey and had lived in the Knox area all of his life. He was married April 30, 1944 at Argos to Olive Ault who survives. He was a farmer. Mr. McVey was a member of the Knox Lodge 639 F. and A.M. and the Knox Chapter of the order of Eastern Star. Surviving with his widow are three sons, Albert, Dennis and Paul, and one daughter, Maxine, all at home, and one brother, Roland of Knox. Friends may call at the Harry Price Funeral Home, Knox. The body will lie in state at the church from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday." Mrs. FOLTZ has written "Feb. 5, 1964" at the top of the article.
