John Alfred Morstad was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Bernard Morstad. He immigrated to Canada with his parents and lived north of Outram, Sask.. He attended Tedford School and High School in Torquay. He farmed with his Dad on the homestead until 1928 when they purchased land south of Outram on 17-2-10. They moved the house to the new location. In 1931 John married Velma Stanley. Both John & Velma are on the same headstone in Souris Vly Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Estevan Sask, 1993.
