To this unioneightchildren were born Avery, Van and Butler, Joe Vica and Nancy andNash,Cullwell, three of the boys saw service in Confederate war,Avery,Van and Butler.  Avery and Van were killed and buried on battlefield.Butler said the most painful of all the scenes was when hisfirstcousin Bill Moore was shot down. (The two fought side by side.)
